I can provide portfolio consultations and career advice online or in person at your locations (if travel expenses are covered). I am also available to schools and universities for lecturing worldwide. Further creative consultations are available to design companies, advertising agencies, animation studios and various enterprises in need of creative solutions. WORKSHOP 1: Branding for Artists, Designers and Small Creative Businesses

There are many amazing visual artists and designers in the world. Just a few of them have made a difference and happened to sell their work for a huge amount of money. Do you consider getting on a similar path or dream of a great success in the creative industry, graphic design, street art, photography, digital art, painting? If you are thinking of setting up a design studio, freelancing in photography, doing small business in fashion or fine art, it’s all about branding. Talent is only one key element of a successful career, but you need also to know how and where to present and sell your skills. You’ll get a chance to analyze big brands from the arts and apply their strategies to your individual career plans. You’ll learn to build your own brand, market it, sell your products and it will help you to actually start living your dream. You’ll work on your public presence online and through other marketing channels and press. You’ll get individual advice to your needs. At the end of the workshop you’ll have done all the ground work for your brand, which you can then continue on in real life.

WORKSHOP 2: Creative Thinking for Visual Creators

Highly interactive and playful workshop aimed at boosting your creativity, conceptual thinking, effective ideas generating, selecting and selling the strongest ones. You will learn how to come up with your own original approach in the world where almost everything has already been invented and visual communication is overwhelmed by international production. With intention to be fully prepared and competitive in the market of creative industry you will learn how to adapt new ways of seeing and empower your brain activity. From pen and paper to creative use of computer individually adapted to your skills and needs.

WORKSHOP 3: Children’s Book Illustration

Beside working as a versatile illustrator herself Petra Stefankova ran a start-up creative agency where her responsibility was in leading a team of illustrators, animators and designers. From the perspective of the illustrator and ex-agency owner she will provide insights on children’s book production using different traditional and digital styles of her artist roaster to give a good example on industry processes. She will also share her international business and marketing experience within this competitive market. With the boom of digital media children’s books have reached another level through the translation into iPad/iPhone applications. Introduction to the course will cover case studies from both traditional books and digital ones.
